crushed (poem)

ok so "they won" I give up. I am crushed.
I'm not a super women,
not a super mom,
not a super daughter,
not a super sister,
not a super friend,
not a super entrepreneur
nor a super fundraiser di-rec-tor
I'm just gaby.

I'm just gaby with a broken heart.

Who cares?
who really cares I ask.

Cause last time I checked I didn't get a phone call or a "letter of hope" or a sincere apologetic visit, a poem or a simple smile.
I didn't get a call back or a replied text, it has been like all the rest, simply a test of faith.

All because of greed, power, MONEY and a simple push to the side road, I am no longer needed...

I am no longer a great friend,
I am no longer a human being with thoughts, visions and feelings,
I am now a forgotten soul, and I can care less if that's what's going on,
I rather be who I am and know that Allah is the best and will always be by my side no matter what.
No matter who speaks ill and lies,
No matter who spreads evil or gives no side of reason, no equal ears to hear both sides,
that is clearly the gray side.

No matter who turns away, no matter who accuses you the wrong way,
He will be there for you, defending you, protecting you,

I don't need a crowd, I rather be myself and I-
my family and that is it,
Instead of an ocean of brainless peeps who care all about their greed, their EGO rules them, their power pushes them and they can all do whatever it is they do best, cause they understand and I, I am a single, solo, "un maremoto", I rather sail on my own, stay on my own,
I rather join the "ship of fools" cause they ain't no fools, they know the truth, they know not to be attached to anything in this world,

Stay aboard, stay with their own, stay on the oceans ga-lore.
They will provide, they will sustain and never you will they look for gains.

And I will be fine.

crushed but that's alright.
Crushed I can do but only if I choose to!
let it go, save the day,
stay awake, feel the pain!
in my eyes I got nothing to blind,
I know the truth, I speak it too!

gaby I say...
don't deny that you CAN go far,
do not wonder what you can achieve TODAY
so stand up straight!
brush yourself off and shape up cause you know what?

You will be stronger now than you were before,
you will crush them now if they get in your way
and you will see, there is nothing to fear except the day in which we will ALL be raised-back up again
and because of that DAY my friends,
we better be
