beauty and hope

There is a great wisdom in silence.
In listening to the inner self.
That is why the monks retreat, the yogis meditate, the Muslim pray and many others seek their Lord through silence.
You have to find that time to just make a connection with the ONE creator and understand that everything is organized and moved by him.
That's why we shouldn't "hate" any creation because it has value to the creator. When you make a cake you love it and decorate it and you are proud of what you have done. How would you like it if someone tells you "ohhh what an ugly cake, I'm staying away from that!"...

In a similar way,we should love ALL of God's creation and understand that it is there for a reason. Never should we say this is ugly etc. Unless it's someones character (which they have intellect to develop etc). I now find beauty everywhere I go and in people I meet because I feel this is coming from God and He knows why He put it there. (Although we may not understand)

Dr. Umar Faruq Abd-Allah
I heard a live lecture by Dr. Omar Farook Abdullah, wow, he's an amazing speaker~!!!! He said there are 4 obstacles for people to see beauty and instead they see evil in things or people they meet.
These are the 4 obstacles
1. The world itself (and getting lost in it)
2. People we live with (they encourage us and discourage us)
3. the devil (because of his whispers to us, telling us to fear, telling us to hate etc)
4. Our EGO- this is the greater evil to us than the devil itself!

What a genius, I love this guy, he was absolutely right "God gives us perfection, we have the knowledge of good and evil, we know what we should do"

You can see beauty in everything because God created everything beautiful but it is evil that veils us from the good.

"If you turn to this world, it will turn against you, but if you turn against this world, it will turn towards you."

Suhaib Webb

I'm paraphrasing Imam Suhaib webb's lecture here.

He said to make the dua (supplication) of a lover, what we should say to a loved one.
Hold on to God's rope and it will never brake. We should want the relationship with our lord and keep wanting nearness to Him. We should and can repent. It is actually wrong and prohibited to "give you" to God's mercy.

Truly care about people, care about humanity, your default is "HOPE"
